Continuous galvanizing line

What it makes

Galvanized strip, coil after coil, without stopping.

Typical duty

900–1000 °C, reducing atmosphere, continuous. Tube life sets the shutdown interval for the whole line.

Where we are in it

ZonePartWhat goes wrong there
Heating zoneComposite radiant tubeCircumferential cracking at the flange root; oxidation through-wall
Soaking zoneComposite radiant tubeDistortion — a bowed tube will not slide back into its sleeve
Element and burner sheathsSilicon nitride radiant tubeSheath failure exposing the element to the atmosphere
Furnace roof and wallCastablesSpalling at the hot face through repeated cycling
Cast lining expansion jointsExpansion joint boardsJoint filler leaving too much ash, so the joint never opens and the lining cracks instead

Zone-to-part mapping shows typical arrangements. Final selection depends on your furnace and operating conditions.
